Drive away with added peace of mind

At A N H Motorhouse, we want every customer to feel confident when choosing their next vehicle. That is why eligible vehicles are supplied with warranty cover for added reassurance after purchase.

Our warranty provision is arranged by A N H Motorhouse and supported by AA Warranty cover, giving you access to recognised warranty protection for unexpected mechanical and electrical faults, subject to the terms of the policy supplied with your vehicle.

Warranty supplied with your vehicle

Unless stated otherwise on the individual vehicle advert or sales invoice, eligible vehicles are supplied with a warranty for the period confirmed at the point of sale.

The exact warranty period, claim limit, cover level and policy details may vary depending on the vehicle's age, mileage, condition and eligibility. Full details will be provided in your warranty documentation.

Where a vehicle is advertised with AA Warranty cover, the cover is provided under the AA Warranty product and will be subject to the provider's own terms, conditions, exclusions, claim limits and claims process.

What the warranty is designed to cover

A vehicle warranty is designed to help protect you against the cost of unexpected repairs following a covered mechanical or electrical failure.

Depending on the cover level supplied with the vehicle, warranty cover may include protection for many original mechanical and electrical components, subject to the policy terms and exclusions.

Your warranty documents will confirm exactly what is included, what is excluded, the applicable claim limit, the warranty period and how to make a claim.

AA Warranty cover

AA Warranty products are designed to provide reassurance against potentially expensive repair bills. Cover levels may vary depending on the vehicle and policy selected.

AA Warranty cover may include benefits such as access to an approved repair network, mechanical and electrical repair cover, and other policy benefits depending on the cover level supplied.

The warranty is separate from your legal rights and does not replace the responsibility of A N H Motorhouse as the selling dealer.

Your statutory rights are protected

Your warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights.

If you are buying as a consumer, the vehicle must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, taking into account its age, mileage, price, condition, history and other relevant circumstances.

A warranty does not remove, reduce or replace your rights under consumer law.

Important warranty conditions

To keep your warranty valid, you must follow the conditions set out in your warranty documentation. These may include servicing the vehicle in line with the manufacturer's recommendations, keeping service records and invoices, reporting faults promptly, and obtaining authorisation before repair work is carried out.

Repairs carried out without prior authorisation may not be covered.

Warranty cover will not usually include routine servicing, maintenance, consumables, wear and tear items, accidental damage, misuse, neglect, cosmetic issues, or faults that were specifically disclosed before purchase, unless the warranty documentation states otherwise.

Making a warranty claim

If you experience a fault after purchase, please contact A N H Motorhouse as soon as possible. We will help you understand the next steps and guide you towards the correct claims process.

You may also need to contact the warranty provider directly using the details supplied in your warranty documents.

Before authorising any repair, please make sure the claim has been approved in line with the warranty process. This helps avoid unnecessary delays or costs that may not be recoverable under the policy.

Warranty documents

Your warranty documents will be provided when the warranty is activated or supplied with the vehicle. These documents are important and should be kept safely.

They will confirm:

  • the warranty provider;
  • the warranty start date and end date;
  • the level of cover supplied;
  • the claim limit;
  • what is covered;
  • what is excluded;
  • the claims process;
  • any servicing or maintenance requirements;
  • cancellation or transfer terms, where applicable.

Vehicles not covered

Some vehicles may not qualify for warranty cover due to their age, mileage, condition, value, usage type or other eligibility requirements.

Where a vehicle is sold without warranty cover, this will be made clear before purchase and recorded on the sales invoice or purchase documentation.

Warranty and breakdown cover

Any breakdown cover, roadside assistance or additional AA-related benefit will only apply where it is specifically included in the warranty documentation supplied with your vehicle.

Breakdown cover and warranty cover are not always the same thing. Please check your policy documents carefully so you understand what is included.

Questions about your warranty
