2. Website information

We aim to keep all information on our website accurate, clear and up to date. Vehicle details, prices, mileage, specification, images, availability and descriptions are provided in good faith and based on the information available to us at the time of listing.

Although we take care when preparing listings, errors or omissions may occasionally occur. Vehicle availability can also change without notice. We reserve the right to correct any error, update a listing or withdraw a vehicle from sale at any time before a binding sale has been agreed.

Before purchase, you should satisfy yourself that the vehicle, specification, condition, mileage, history and documentation meet your requirements. We will be happy to answer reasonable questions and arrange a viewing where possible.

3. Vehicle descriptions and condition

All vehicles are used vehicles unless expressly stated otherwise. As such, age, mileage, previous use, cosmetic wear and general condition will vary from vehicle to vehicle.

We describe each vehicle as accurately as possible and will disclose material information known to us. Photographs are provided to help illustrate the vehicle but should not be treated as a substitute for viewing or inspection.

Any statement regarding service history, former keepers, MOT, keys, specification, features, warranty, road tax cost or other vehicle information is based on the information available to us and may be subject to verification.

4. Independent inspections, MOT and preparation

Where a vehicle is advertised as inspected, prepared, serviced, HPI checked, valeted or supplied with an MOT, this will be carried out or verified before handover unless otherwise agreed in writing.

An MOT certificate confirms that the vehicle met the MOT test standard on the date of the test. It is not a guarantee of the vehicle's future condition or freedom from future faults.

5. Reservations

Where available, you may reserve a vehicle online by paying the stated reservation deposit.

A reservation does not by itself complete the purchase of the vehicle. It allows us to hold the vehicle for a reasonable period while the purchase details are finalised, subject to confirmation from us.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, the reservation deposit will either be:

  • applied towards the purchase price if you proceed with the purchase; or
  • refunded if the sale does not proceed.

We may cancel a reservation and refund the deposit if the vehicle becomes unavailable, is withdrawn from sale, has been listed incorrectly, fails a pre-sale check, or we are unable to proceed with the sale for any other reasonable reason.

6. Pricing and payment

Vehicle prices are displayed in pounds sterling. Unless stated otherwise, the advertised price relates to the vehicle only and does not include optional extras, delivery charges, finance charges, insurance, road tax, extended warranty upgrades or other third-party products.

Payment must be made in cleared funds before a vehicle is released. We may refuse to release a vehicle until full payment has been received and verified.

We reserve the right to carry out identity, fraud prevention and payment checks before completing a transaction.

7. Finance

Where finance is discussed or introduced, it will be subject to status, affordability, lender approval, lender terms and separate finance documentation.

Any finance example, estimate or illustration is for guidance only and is not a guaranteed offer of credit. A binding finance agreement will only exist once the relevant lender has approved the application and the required documents have been completed.

If finance is unavailable, declined or withdrawn, we are not obliged to complete the sale unless another acceptable payment method is agreed.

8. Part exchange and selling your vehicle

We may offer a part exchange valuation or purchase price for your vehicle. Any valuation is subject to inspection, confirmation of ownership, mileage, condition, service history, finance status, accident history and supporting documentation.

If your vehicle has outstanding finance, you must tell us before agreeing any transaction. Any settlement figure must be confirmed by the finance provider. We may pay the settlement directly and deduct it from the agreed part exchange value, where applicable.

You confirm that any vehicle offered by you is legally yours to sell, is not subject to undisclosed finance, has not been materially misdescribed, and is not subject to undisclosed accident damage, mileage discrepancy or insurance write-off status.

9. Collection and delivery

Vehicles may be collected from our showroom by appointment. Nationwide delivery may be available by agreement and may be subject to an additional charge.

Delivery dates and times are estimates unless expressly confirmed in writing. We will take reasonable care to meet agreed delivery arrangements, but we will not be responsible for delays outside our reasonable control.

Before driving the vehicle on public roads, you are responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is taxed, insured and legally permitted to be driven. Vehicle tax does not transfer automatically when a vehicle is sold.

Risk in the vehicle passes to you when the vehicle is handed over to you, your representative or your appointed delivery provider.

10. Online, distance and off-premises sales

Where a vehicle purchase is completed entirely at a distance or away from our premises, you may have cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Where those rights apply, you may have the right to cancel within 14 days after delivery without giving a reason. You must tell us clearly if you wish to cancel.

If you cancel, the vehicle must be returned to us in substantially the same condition as supplied, with all keys, documents, accessories and items provided at handover.

We may make a lawful deduction from any refund where the vehicle has been used, damaged, altered, or handled beyond what is necessary to inspect it.

These cancellation rights are separate from, and do not replace, your statutory rights if a vehicle is faulty, not as described or not of satisfactory quality.

11. Your statutory rights

If you are a consumer, you have legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. A vehicle supplied by a trader must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, taking into account its age, mileage, price, condition and other relevant circumstances.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your statutory rights.

If you believe there is a problem with your vehicle, please contact us as soon as possible so we can review the matter and explain the next steps.

12. Warranty

Warranty information is provided separately on our Warranty page and/or in the warranty documentation supplied with the vehicle.

Where a vehicle is supplied with an AA Warranty or another third-party warranty product, the warranty will be subject to the provider's own terms, conditions, claim limits, exclusions, eligibility criteria and claims process.

A warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights. It does not replace, reduce or remove any rights you may have under consumer law.

Unless stated otherwise in writing, warranty cover does not mean that all future faults, wear and tear, maintenance items, consumables or pre-existing issues are automatically covered.

13. Test drives

Test drives are available by appointment and at our discretion. We may ask to see a valid driving licence and proof of insurance or may require you to be accompanied by a member of our team.

You are responsible for driving safely, lawfully and carefully during any test drive. You may be liable for damage, fines, penalties, tolls or charges caused by your actions during a test drive.

14. Documentation and ownership transfer

We will provide the available vehicle documentation at or before handover, which may include the V5C/2 new keeper slip, MOT information, service history, manuals, invoices, warranty documents and other relevant paperwork where available.

The V5C registration document records the registered keeper. It is not proof of legal ownership.

We will take reasonable steps to notify DVLA of the keeper change where required. You are responsible for taxing and insuring the vehicle before driving it.

15. Complaints and aftersales

We aim to deal with every customer fairly, professionally and promptly.

If you have a concern or complaint, please contact us using the details below and provide your name, vehicle registration, purchase date and a clear description of the issue.

You may use this website for lawful personal or business purposes only. You must not misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, copy its content for commercial use without permission, or use it in a way that may damage our business or reputation.

We may update, suspend or withdraw any part of the website at any time.

17. Privacy and cookies

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Notice. This explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have.

Where cookies or similar technologies are used, they are managed in accordance with the cookie information provided on our website.

18. Liability

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or breach of your statutory rights.

Subject to the above, we will not be liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, or losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of your enquiry, reservation or purchase will apply unless we agree otherwise in writing.

20. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you may bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts where applicable.
